An in-depth analysis of how we contributed to our clients’ success.
MISSION: Our goal is to provide patrons with the sense that they’ve been whisked away from the concrete jungle without actually leaving the city.
HOW: Provided our expertise in event curation to clients who want to create an innovative experience for their patrons. We offered a menu of options for a comfortable and enjoyable environment. This included: mobile food vendors, live music, art installations, games and more. Hangry Garden’s setup included beautiful furniture made of reclaimed wood, from communal tables & benches to bars. In addition, our furniture design complemented with our decor to create a curated interior/exterior by designers for a botanical oasis theme.
OUTCOME: Our Williamsburg pop-up location that operated from July through October, provided the neighborhood with a place they could hang out, eat, play games, dance and watch live music. It wasn't uncommon to see our guests spend up to seven hours with us. Our event series received press coverage from ABC News, Richard Magazine and BedfordandBowery.com.
Clase Azul 20th Anniversary Public Hotel
MISSION: Clase Azul celebrated their 20th anniversary in New York City. The goal was to deliver a well earned event to properly commemorate the 20 years of hard work and dedication. They wanted the world to know their story.
HOW: The components required to consider this a success were press worthiness, aesthetics and storm telling. Part of what made this press worthy was the celebrity guest list with the likes of Bryan Greenberg and Drea de Matteo. It was important for, Clase Azul owner, Arturo Lomello to share the story behind the brand, the story he told created a real connection to the audience, based on the years of dedication to make what Clase Azul is today. Lastly we made sure the room was full of beautiful people, Clase Azul values the importance of aesthetics as can be seen with their bottles and packaging, we wanted to the crowd in attendance to reflect that beauty.
OUTCOME: Clase Azul celebrated their 20th anniversary with an amazing event. Attendees left feeling a connection to the brand with an understanding of its history. The evening was full of great music, notable press mentions including TheKnockturnal.com, Coolhunting.com, Resident.com, Getty Images and Zimbio.com.
Quixote NYC launch event
Quixote Studios opened their NYC location and asked us to produce the event by bringing Hangry Garden to their location. We turned their parking lot into a fully operational venue with furniture, games, a bar, food vendors, music, a photo booth and the works.
MISSION: To produce the Quixote NYC launch event with a unique festival theme.
HOW: We incorporated our sister company Hangy Garden to turn the Quixote parking lot into a fully operational venue with furniture, games, a bar, food vendors, music, a photo booth and the works. We staffed the entire venue from bartenders and waitresses, to photo booth operators and Gordo’s Cantina (a notable NYC mobile food vendor).
OUTCOME: Quixote was able to successfully introduce their new location and services to potential east coast clients. The food, music games and staff made for an overall memorable experience.
Socialight Annual Holiday Party & Ping Pong Tournament
MISSION: Socialight’s 3rd annual holiday celebration. A “different” kind of holiday party for SOCIALIGHT’s closest friends, clients and business partners.
HOW: Initially conceived as a collaboration with our NYC-based Swedish network, it is now our official holiday party — a ping pong tournament celebration. It’s a tie-less, suit-less holiday soirée, where you are meant to loosen up and rub elbows with celebrities and influencers in a friendly, but competitive environment. Urbanears provided support with products and interactive activities; the holiday spirit was in attendance as we raised money for the Autistic Love Society as our charity — raffling off Urbanears headphones and the tourney table. Swedish design firm Trollback & Co. was there to provide an authentic Swedish touch with their presence and recap video/photography.
OUTCOME: A night to remember. A soirée full of smiles, toasts, celebrities, and great friends. Last year’s tournament saw Vita Coco provide the refreshments, WeSC the uniforms, and iHome the prizes. This year, we had Urbanears to thank for raffle giveaways, a photobooth, and 250+ participants/attendees leaving with colorful headphones in their gift bags. In return, Urban Ears received great event content with the likes of Sway Calloway, Vashtie, Stretch Armstrong, Jasmine Solano, Roxy Cottontail and Anna Herndenstam. The event was such a success it will now be expand to other cities, including Los Angeles and Stockholm in 2016. Trollback was able to expose their brand to a new audience by associating themselves with this fun experience. The charity was able to raise money thanks to donations by our attendees.
Moretti Aperitivo Happy Hour Events
MISSION: Moretti was looking to expand outside its established name in the Italian community, and into the general market.
HOW: Socialight Entertainment set to design events with curated a guest list of NYC tastemakers, while still maintaining their Italian roots by hosting the events at Italian venues around New York City. We also tied The Self Portrait Project to the event for some great photos.
OUTOME: Great synergy between the liquor sponsor and venues, which not only now had an after work crowd, but a 75% increase in weekend reservations. As for Moretti, we essentially introduced the Moretti product to a broader audience through Italian food and in an Italian environment.
